Farrell Springs a Surprise at Golden Globes Night

AS expected, the late Heath Ledger wins Best Supporting Actor for 'Dark Knight' and it is nice to see Kate Winslet triumphing over Meryl Streep for a change and taking home two awards (for 'Revolutionary Road' and 'The Reader').

However, it is a big surprise seeing Colin Farrell (right) being picked Best Actor for Musical or Comedy. Must have been the easiest win for an actor just brooding in front of the camera. I have seen 'John Adams' on TV and I think it deserves the four awards it gets.

The biggest 'loser' must be 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' (nominated for Best Picture, Drama, Best Director [David Fincher] and Best Actor [Brad Pitt]) but went away with nothing.
