Freddy Krueger Slashes US B-O

MAY 3, 2010 - Freddy Krueger is the top menace of the North American box office chart with his ninth cinematic outing in the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. It grossed an estimated US$32.2 million at No. 1. This perch is shaky considering Iron Man 2's opening in the US this Friday.

Elsewhere, new release Furry Vengeance opened the weekend at an estimated US$6.5 million at No. 5 spot.
