'Jonah Hex' Axed In Malaysia

JUNE 24, 2010 - Warner Bros has announced that Jonah Hex will not be released in Malaysia. The movie, starring Josh Brolin, Megan Fox (pictured) and John Malkovich, was slotted an Aug 5 date for KL release before the pullout.


No reason was given. Jonah Hex is about a gun-slinging tough-talking bounty hunter (Brolin) adapted from a little-known 1970s DC Comics series. It opened in the US on June 18 and got a lukewarm reception, collecting just US$5 million over the weekend. Looks like Megan Fox was no match for the toys of Toy Story 3.
