Pixar's UP soars at Weekend US B-O (Updated)
UPDATED with actual figures: PIXAR's 'Up' topped the box office last weekend with US$68.1 million.
Boxofficemojo.com reports that among Pixar debuts, Up slots in third place, behind The Incredibles and Finding Nemo and ahead of WALL-E, which opened at US$63.1 million last year and closed with a US$223.8 million total. However, adjusted for ticket price inflation, Up would rank fifth as Toy Story 2 and Monsters, Inc. would rate significantly higher.
Meanwhile, Star Trek clocks in at Number 5 while Terminator Salvation goes down one notch in its second week at No. 3 (down from No 2 previously).
